As a Catholic, Jesuit institution, Marquette seeks to be an inclusive learning community proud to educate and employ individuals from many backgrounds, perspectives, and national origins. They then went on to state that students who plan to return in the fall for classes will maintain their F-1 visa status if they plan on taking some classes in-person. Those students are still allowed to take online classes as well, they just must attend some in person. For students who do not plan to return in the fall and want to take only online courses, Marquette is asking that they contact their adviser. Because of the new policies, those students  F-1 Visas will be inactive.
